We didn’t have a lot of time for the shoot so we headed to a few locations near my home.  Over the next 45 minutes we took numerous photos in different poses and outfits.  This was a true guerilla style shoot in that we had no assistant, no make-up artist and no privacy for Steve’s outfit change.  Luckily we were able to pull it off without any complications and without police intervention.

]]> http://www.memoryofalifetime.com/featured-articles/photos-for-promotion/feed 0 Through The Generations http://www.memoryofalifetime.com/featured-articles/through-the-generations http://www.memoryofalifetime.com/featured-articles/through-the-generations#comments Sat, 08 Aug 2009 17:59:26 +0000 Patrick Garrett http://www.memoryofalifetime.com/?p=82 Sometimes you come across the most interesting things when you look back at old photos – especially the ones you forgot you had.  The other day when visiting my mother she presented me with a BW photo of her and his siblings.  While the photo itself was interesting for many reasons, the only thing I saw when looking at the photo was the face of my daugther Libby.  Staring back at me was Libby’s pretty face and eyes, but yet it wasn’t Libby.  The photo was of my mother when she was a child.  Needless to say it was an amazing likeness that was hard to believe at first.

This is the power of photos.  They allows us to capture memories in the moment and preserve them for future generations to enjoy.  And in this case we’ve all enjoyed looking back at how things were different yet some how, through the generations, remain the same.
